Ethic in publishing. Editorial Politicy

How to submit the paper

There are no publication fees to publish with this journal.

All papers and illustrations must be submitted via e-mail to the Editors (see Contact). Manuscripts can be submitted in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, without being formatted into journal style. They will need to be formatted for revision, after acceptance. There are no specific page limits for the articles. Illustrations, however, should be provided with a resolution of 300 dpi and a cmyk colour mode. The deadline to submit articles for each issue of Museikon is March the 31st.

The studies should present new discoveries, bringing insight to a relevant problem, and not be the simple extension of current knowledge. Submission of a manuscript implies that it reports unpublished work, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form. The Editors reserve the right to reproduce in another language and in a different form studies published in a language or in a publication with very little dissemination.

Museikon uses Cambridge Reference Style (https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/aop-file-manager/file/610be5e3a1acae0932de3cca/Cambridge-Reference-Styles.pdf).

Privacy Statement

The Journal complies with the legislation regarding the protection of personal data GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The editorial board Is committed to ensure the protection of personal data. Submitting articles implies the consent given by the authors to the publishers regarding the online publication of: name, first name, affiliation, institution address, e-mail address as well as in the conditions of review and publication (review; storage during the review process; archiving for an indefinite period for the accepted works, respectively for several weeks, in the case of a rejected work; the period is calculated from the date of decision transmission regarding the framing of the article).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Peer-review

Museikon follows a systematic review and publication policy. In order to facilitate the peer-review process, authors are requested to ensure that all references to their own previously published work are impersonal.

At least two recommended reviewers must be provided by the author at the submission stage. One or two more reviewers will be chosen by the Editors. Manuscripts that pass the pre-screening phase but have not yet been formatted in journal style will then be returned to the author for formatting. Authors should normally carry out any revision within two weeks including formatting the manuscript into journal style. The language of the articles will be then verified by a third party and finally by the language consultants of the journal.

Special issues and/or conference proceedings may have different peer review procedures involving, for example, Guest Editors, conference organisers or scientific committees. Authors contributing to these projects may receive full details of the peer review process on request from the editorial office.

Please note that the peer-review process might take, in some cases, 1 to 3 months. Authors will be notified of acceptance for publication as soon as reviewers answers are received.

Accepted articles are usually published in the forthcoming issue of the journal.

Revised manuscripts should be accompanied by a point-by-point reply to the recommendations of reviewers, specifying the changes made in the revised version or the reasons why authors decided to reject reviewer recommendation(s).

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial board is very strict regarding plagiarism. Taking the ideas and work of others without giving them credit is unfair and dishonest. The editorial board retains the absolute authority to reject the review process of a submitted manuscript if it is suspect at plagiarism or subject to plagiarism. All the authors are asked to avoid any conflict of interests, actual or potential.
